In April 2013 Damon Kowarsky and Kyoko Imazu travelled to Japan with the support of a Japan Foundation Sydney Facetnate! Grant.
While in Kyoto they visited Sanjusangen-do. Here they saw a series of carved warrior figures bearing the attributes of animals from the Chinese Zodiac.
Unlike western star signs the Chinese Zodiac is based on your birth year and rotates in a twelve year cycle.
Zodiac was produced at The Art Vault Mildura in August 2014.
